Did You Know ......

According to the March of Dimes, 10% to 15% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage. Other estimates are as high as 20% or 23 million globally. These numbers don't change that it is a devastating and life-changing experience that thousands of mothers and birth givers go through every day. Many of them experience pregnancy and infant loss in isolation -- and those around them often are unsure how to support them. United By Loss Foundation is here to break this cycle!

Around 24,000 stillbirths were reported in the United States in 2014.

According to the CDC, Black women are 4-5 times more likely to die due to pregnancy-related causes than white counterparts in the US.

A miscarriage occurs in approximately 15–20 percent of all pregnancies that have been confirmed.

The United States had an infant mortality rate of 5.6 fatalities for every 1,000 live births in 2019.

In 2019, around 1,250 SIDS-related deaths, 1,180 deaths due to unexplained causes, and 960 accidental suffocation and strangling deaths in bed.
